The St Andrews Day
Championship is an amateur pairs competition in aid of The Sportsman’s
Charity. The Championship is open to all golfers; all nationalities
and can comprise men’s, ladies or mixed teams.
The 9th Annual
Championships culminates in St Andrews in April, 2009 comprising the
following

Luxurious accommodation for two at the famous 4
star Macdonald Rusacks Hotel overlooking the 18th green of the Old
Course - twin room including full Scottish breakfast. |

Day 1 - 18 holes Championship golf over St
Andrews Links on the Harry Colt designed Eden Course, competing
for The Sportsman’s Charity Quaich |

• |
Reception, Hickory Club indoor putting
competition hosted by Macdonald Hotels, St Andrews Ales,
Glenfarclas and the St Andrews Golf Co, followed by an optional
Celebration Dinner & Prize Giving |

• |
Day 2 - Option to play the fabulous Kingsbarns
Links, venue for the Dunhill Links Challenge, Open Qualifier 2010
and Golf World’s 5th Best in the World, 18 holes championship golf
for the Kingsbarns Cup |

Entry Fee £286 per pair (at £143 per head
this represents excellent value for money) |
Entry Options

• |
Enter through a participating club who are
organising a St Andrews Day event and whose Winners will go to St
Andrews |
| |
• |
Organise 6,10, 20 or whatever number of friends
to play a St Andrews Day event at a course of your choice, divide
the Entry Fee among them and send the winning pair to St Andrews |

• |
Share the Entry Fee with your favourite golfing
partner and come as a team to St Andrews |
On receiving your completed entry we will courier you
two complimentary bottles of delicious 10-year-old Glenfarclas single
malt whisky so your competitors can toast St Andrew and keep out the
winter chill! (We will need to receive your entry by St Andrews
Day November 30th to qualify for this.)
In St Andrews we will play St Andrews Foursomes a most enjoyable form
of greensomes.
